FAQ

General Questions

  • What are your business hours?

Our Grand Blanc and Lake Orion offices are open from 8 am until 4 pm Monday through Friday. We are closed for all national holidays.

  • How does pricing work?

For local moves, they are charged hourly with an additional trip charge for our trucks. Anything considered long distance, which is 40 miles from pick up to the destination, is regulated by the state and is charged by the weight of your load.

  • What type of payment methods do you accept?

For both local and long distance moves we accept all major credit cards and cash.

  • What happens if something breaks during the move?

We hope that none of your belongings will be damaged in the move. If something were to happen, your belongings are insured with us and will be replaced or repaired- worry-free!

  • What happens if I cancel my move?

Our cancelation policy is to let us know three days prior to your move to avoid getting charged a fee.

  • What can't you move?

We are unable to move anything flammable, nonperishable items, anything living, and taxidermy.

  • Are you licensed and insured?

Marching Ant Moving is a fully bonded licensed and insured company. We are also part of the Michigan Mover Association.

  • If I rent my own truck, will you pack it and operate it?

Unfortunately, we are not insured to operate any other vehicle other than MAM vehicles. Fortunately, we are able to load up any truck and/or pod for our customers.
